As two WAMC championship secretaries have given notice that they will stand down as of the 31st December 2024 would any interested parties please email the WAMC General Secretary Rob Baldwin to register interest
Secretaries are required for the Welsh Forest Rally Championship and the Tarmac/King of Epynt Championships
Outline for the Forest Championship
In recent times the Motorsport Pirelli Welsh Rally Championship has grown considerably and with it the input required by the championship organisers.
We are continually looking at ways to improve the way we operate and liaise with our competitors, sponsors, event organisers the media and our supporters. It also is very important that we stay relevant in an ever changing environment, meet the requirements of Motorsport UK and promote rallying in a sustainable way.
If you have a set of skills that you feel can benefit the championship and would like to join the team please drop us a line detailing your experience.
The skills required are many, however we can match your current skill set to roles within the requirements and work together to identify areas that require training.

Guidelines for Tarmac/King of Epynt
Championship Secretary Guidelines
1) Write / amend championship regulations and selected events ensure they are current with MSUK Regulations for the relevant discipline which will then be submitted to the relevant WAMC championship/competition meeting.
2) Negotiate and secure Championship Sponsor. Display of advertising material sponsor supplies along with WAMC Banner
3) Arrange for championship decals to be produced to include all relevant logos (WAMC Sponsor etc)
4) Apply for Championship Permit from MSUK
5) Advise events if they have been selected or not to be included in the championship. Send copy of Championship permit, all championship logos to the relevant contact of the event.
6) When championship regulations and sponsorships is finalised along with championship registration form send to WAMC web master to be loaded on the WAMC web site.
7) Produce Registration Cards for championship contenders.
8) Produce a championship results table for positions in class and overall
9) Circulate results via email to all registered contenders ASAP after each round and to web master.
10) End of season when winners are finalised select awards within the budget of the championship for presentation. (Catalogue is supplied).
11) As championship secretary you will be invited to attend WAMC Competitions Committee Meetings Most are by Zoom with at least one in person at Metropole Hotel Llandrindod Wells
12) Championship Secretaries cannot register for the championship
