At the Welsh Association of Motor Clubs awards presentation at the Metropole Hotel Llandrindod Wells on the 31st January the WAMC was pleased to announce that it was recognising the work of the medical officers living in Wales who attend events and the contribution they provide to motorsport by paying for out of their own pockets the equipment and date sensitive consumables they need to carry out their duties there is 3 persons lead by David Cooper with Andrew Wyson, Paul Cragg making up the Welsh team.

The Welsh Association of Motor Clubs has donated 8K for them to help purchase equipment and consumables and while we all hope not to need their services, we applaud their dedication to our sport

The team were presented with WAMC special wards Andrew Wyson and Paul Cragg the MSA Silver Salver and David Cooper the Wilkinson Sword

In addition to the above a draw was held during the evening a sum of £625 was collected for the Wales Air Ambulance and the Welsh Association of Motor Clubs then added to the funds presenting a Cheque for £1,500.00 to Mark James a trustee of Welsh Air Ambulance
